Get out and about in style when you choose a baby stroller to suit
your lifestyle
Need to get out and
about with your baby? Easy! Either strap on a
baby carrier, or pop baby into a baby stroller and hit the road.
Today’s baby strollers make life much easier for parents to get out with
their babies. Lightweight construction, durability and versatility help
ensure the experience ifs a very comfortable one for baby, every time
you leave the house.
When choosing a stroller that is right for you and your family there
several things to consider:
•
Price range:
baby strollers come in a wide range of prices, but you get what you pay
for. We all know children are expensive and you have to budget
carefully, but get the best stroller you can within your price range.
•
Activity:
what will you be using the baby stroller for? For walks in the park and
shopping, etc, a standard stroller or baby carriage is fine. For
active
walks on bumpy trails, jogging or running on any kind of surface, then
running strollers and jogging strollers are best.
•
Maneuverability:
this
is something that is usually overlooked by parents until they have gone
through a couple of strollers. Save yourself some time and money with
forward planning; cool looking jogging strollers with huge wheels can
deal with bumpy surfaces, but can’t turn on a dime. So if you are going
to be in stores a lot, consider a stroller with smaller wheels and with
front wheels that swivel to let you maneuver easier. Parents who can’t
resist the funky jogging strollers with 20” wheels, often have another
“inexpensive” baby stroller for shopping.
• Number of
children and their ages:
an
infant must be able to lay flat in a stroller, so a lot of strollers
simply do not work for infants. A popular choice to ensure that your
stroller
can grow with your child every step of the way is a travel system that
can accommodate a bassinette when your baby is an infant and then
convert to a
sit
up stroller
when they are older.
With two or three children, then you will need to be especially careful
about your baby stroller choice. Inline strollers where the children sit with
one in front and one in back are generally easier to maneuver and get
through smaller doors than side by side strollers. However, for jogging
and running, most double / triple strollers are side by side models.
Consider all of these points, then browse though our recommended

that perfectly fits your lifestyle.
